Currently having Boardwalk Empire withdrawals. Look at all that swagger in those gifs! It hurts to watch. Ugh, Richard Harrow and Jimmy Darmody forever. I swear their bromance gave me life. 

I can’t say I was surprised at the season 2 finale, but it was still jarring to watch. Next season is going to be very interesting. I can’t wait to see what direction the writers are going to go with. I’m actually really glad I didn’t watch the series when it was on air. I probably would have failed med surg had I did. At the moment, my imagination is on over drive concocting scenarios and piecing the puzzles together. As I’m left to ponder my thoughts for the next 8 months or so, I just hope there’s more Richard Harrow.

I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so emotionally invested in a fictional character. Ever since he was introduced in the first season, I took a liking to him instantly. His character is both vulnerable and lethal. One minute you’re pulled into his moment of pathos, the next he’s off with a shot gun ready to do Jimmy’s dirty deeds. He’s the tragically flawed character that you can’t help but love. He’s an exceptionally skilled marksman who lost himself in the war. He’s the phantom of Atlantic City. Credit is due to the superb acting of Jack Huston. He really brings the character to life and it’s hard to believe they’re the same person! So brilliant. Oh man, what a transformation. Please excuse me while I continue being a RH fangirl.
